A mobile platform for kids to do homework/study on phones.
Ladybird/Pearson has the culture of exploring the new trends and using the positive sides to develop kids educationally.
One of these is the ability of children to play mobile games on the phone for hours, this they considered not being productive and came up with the idea whereby children can do their home work and further studies on their mobile-phones.
MobileXcetera won the bid to develop this mobile educational platform and made it accessible to children via their schools. Children were able to download this app to their phones, do and submit their homework on it and the application has the ability to save submitted home works on the phone.
When the home work is submitted, it automatically sends to the teachers reporting page (this also comes along with the app) where the teacher can log on and review performance of each child.
This project was a successful one and MobileXcetera has even more to offer.
Fleet Technologies limited was in need of other avenues that can simplify the process of checking exam results asides the online check they already had in place.
With mobileXcetera acting as a technical partner to Fleet Technologies Limited, was able to develop a mobile platform whereby students who write the WAEC exam can check their result on their mobile phones.
It’s as simple as requesting for a result by sending your name and examination number in a particular format.
This has been a great success since 2006 and still on!
